8 ways to Improve conversion of presentation Page (part 2)

This post was written by Lindsay Hunt, ClickBank Product Manager

Here there are the other four ways to improve your conversions on your presentationpage.

5. Layout/Design

A presentation that is not well designed can be unclear and difficult to navigate. Listedbelow, there are some common mistakes of layout and design on presentation pages.

Inconsistent use of characters  Choose one or two types of characters and uses these two throughout the page. Try to use different characters for titles to make them stand out from the text, but do not mix too many different styles. Be sure to be consistent with the size of the characters. Body text should be all the same size and it is best to be consistent with the size of titles.
Too many colours – Loading your page with too many colors creates Visual confusion for visitors. Be consistent with the colors you use for links, titles and text and choose matching colors. If you have difficulty creating a color pallet, use a tool such as AdobeKuler that has hundreds of pre configured colour schemes.
Problems with eye tracking  eye tracking studies show that visitors read in a schema to "F". If you organize your content with the form "F" can help you put the right information in the right place. Make sure your text has the same alignment (don't have centered paragraph and the next right-aligned) and leave enough white space so thatthe content is easy to read.
Take Action:

Check your presentation page and look for inconsistencies in the layout. Your colors are combined with your brand? There is something hard to read? Currency as change the page.

6. Visual elements

Videos and pictures help visitors to understand your product and provide variety to the structure and content of your page.

When you add visuals to your page, make sure they are appropriate to your message and add value instead of just filling space.

Samples, pictures before/after photos and videos more fully explain the benefits and features of your product. If you are using video, be sure to provide important information in text format. Not everyone wants to watch a video, then include your message in the text of your page.

Take Action:

You can add additional visual content to your presentation? The visuals are relevant? Are used to highlight the features and benefits of your product?

7. Social Proof

People are more likely to buy if they see a social credible evidence that others have bought the product and benefit.

Adding a testimonial to your page will increase confidence and improve conversions.

Testimonials should be specific and highlight the key benefits and features of your product. Adding names, photos and specific details enhances the credibility of you rtestimonial.

Take Action:

Read your testimonials to see if there are aspects of your product. Contact your customers to request a testimonial to add to your page if you think useful.

8. Price Determination/offers

Visitors must know how much your product before making a purchase decision. Do not mask or hide the price on your page. The best place for the price is close your call to action so that a visitor understands what will be on the order form.

Take Action:

The price is shown clearly by your call to action?

Devotes some time to the analysis of your page presentation in each of these eight categories found in part one and two of this series. If you are too familiar with your site and can't check objectively, you might want to ask someone to check it and provide feedback. Your page will never be perfect, but if you continue to look at your page witha critical eye, you can continue to refine and improve your conversions.
